Those are fairly common. An RV'er just up the road from me has one and his buddy has one that has the Jeep on the bottom and the boat on top. And no, they are not cheap.

There was a company in Clarkston WA that built special boat trailers that would fit in the back of your truck. The boat, trailer and all are winched into the truck. Then when you get to camp you have the toad to pull the boat to the ramp.

I've just never seen one on such a small pickup!!!

Double deck boat/car trailers are not uncommon.
You can go on Google and input "Double deck boat trailers" and get lots of mfgrs.

Nice!

Looks like he needs that squat so he doesn't have to back the pickup so deep into the drink to launch and retrieve!
Cheers,

I did not get photos, but about seven or eight years ago, I saw a high dollar Class A pulling a double deck trailer with a boat on the bottom, and a jeep on top. It was a well thought out and constructed setup. I can only imagine what it cost. Just judging by the Class A, Boat, Jeep and trailer, he probably did not even have to ask what the trailer would cost.

I hope to do the same thing in 10 or 20 years when I can take longer trips.

Not much room for tire rise on those rear tires.....it looks as if the tires are already touching the extended fender?

I guess it makes sense, though I'd want a smaller boat...something lighter.

Despite the duals, that lil' toad's doin' the big squat!

Confession:

My husband helped his buddy build a rack on his little Ford Ranger so they could do the same thing with the buddy's boat/trailer...only the tug is a Class "C".

Guess that makes them the "pre-oil-strike Clampetts" :B
