Palomino soft-side slide in weights

Does anyone on the forum own one of the newer Palomino pop up slide-in campers? I'm looking at an SS-1608 or SS-1251 but am getting conflicting information on weights.

Palomino lists dry/shipping weight at about 1795 lbs. Dealer says 1795 lbs is wet weight (i.e. water, propane, batteries but no personal cargo)

I'd like to hear from someone that owns one of these campers, what is your typical real-world wet weight?

Thanks

I might add, mine is just fine. Palomino did away with the 2 piece leaking door and the crank up top. Door is one piece now and the top is push button. I've had no issues whatsoever with mine and overall fit and finish is excellent for what I consider to be a cheaper unit. Everything works as it should, a big plus today.

I'm happy.

I have a 2 year old SS1500. Palomino lists the dry weight at 1925. Mine weighs 2400 with water, propane (2 bottles, 2 batteries (I built a custom battery box and canned the single battery box), my Inverter genny and my stuff (food and clothes and a handgun) inside.

I have mine on a longbed F350 but I suspect a 250 will handle it fine. Don't think a 150 is stout enough.

Dealer says? Based on owning one and weighting it wet? Not likely.

I did own a 1603 about 5 years ago, loaded it weighted 2000 pounds so if you put it on a half ton truck you will need better tires and helper springs.
