Passed the 100K mile mark in my TC

I've been ramblin' about 6 months a year in my TC for eleven years now. Finally passed the 100K mile mark. Ended up the year with about 107K on the camper and 158K on the truck. Had another near trouble free session of travel this year. Did have a fridge problem, but solved it by blowing compressed air into the burner.

My route this year was CA,OR,WA,ID,MT,UT,AZ and back to CA. Had my usual 2 week visit with my cousin in Dillon, MT. Fishing was mostly lousy, even worse than last year. Low snowfall means the local rivers are low and warm when I arrive in mid August. Therefore, Fish & Game puts restrictions on many rivers, for the health of the fish.

Attended four bluegrass music festivals in CA(2), WA and AZ. Saw much beautiful scenery, as usual. That's my main reason to ramble.

I was able to add almost 40 new campsites to my multiyear map (see signature). Now up to about 615. Maybe you can find a new place from it.

Below are a few pics from this year. Check out my website (see signature) for a complete recap of the year and many more pics.

If my old body and GMC are still running next May, I'll be ramblin' again. ๐Ÿ™‚

Merry Christmas to all.

Yes I have been on that route not too long ago. It is very beautiful. When I lived on Whidbey Island We used to go fishing there with my Father.

That's a hard one, since I've been to so many places. This year I think my favorite area was Hwy 20 in N Washington. Goes through N Cascades NP. Nice scenery and plenty of USFS and NPS campgrounds. I drove it from I5 in W WA to Newport, WA on the E edge of WA. Took it also back in 2009 and glad I did it again.

Thanks for your comments.

I can't take credit for the 1st pic. My daughter camped with me a few days and took it when hiking. I would have never made it there. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the correction on the location of Mesa Falls. I changed the pic title. It is close to Montana, though. ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice photos Ralph. I check your web site quite often. One minor correction, Mesa Falls is in Idaho not Montana. We have been there several times as we have family in St Anthony, Idaho.
