Passport ceiling fan

We have a 2012 Passport ultra lite trailer. I does not have a ceiling
fan. I would like to install one in the ceiling vent. Does anyone know if there is wiring already in the ceiling for a fan. Thanks

Some people swap out the bathroom fan because the wires are already in place. It basically does the same job, to vent and draw air as long you leave the bathroom door open or partially open, it usually works fine to exhaust air.

I did this. Used house wire and tied into nearest light. Loosened the wire nut and added a bigger one. Only works when lights are on but works great.

If there is a light close by, you can probably fish wires from the light to the vent opening.

That is what I did on mine. Since mine was going over the bed, I wanted something quiet. I used the fan out of an old PC I had laying around.
Really low current draw, pulls out the hottest air, and I can't hear it running at all.
I put a switch in front of it, but it has been running non stop for several years.

I assume you mean you want to instal a Fantastic fan? If there is no one already there its unlikely the mfg put wires in there just in case. If there is a light close by, you can probably fish wires from the light to the vent opening.

Is a 12 volt light fixture close?
