I read this forum on an iPad Mini. It works well for the purpose except when a member posts a photo and does not edit it or use the parameters to resize it.

When that occurs the entire thread can become difficult to read and follow because the default text size on All posts becomes tiny. There have been numerous posts by our great moderator explaining how to fix the issue. If you are not familiar with the technique please read this before posting a picture:

Photo posting info

Thanks.

I was tempted to deleting your post a Flame or Troll, but did not because I understand the frustration in understanding what others are trying to say.

Your comment; "... burr in your ass ..." comment was out of frustration in not understanding the process. I encourage you not to use comments like "... burr in your ass ...", assuming you want help in solving a problem. With members assistance, you can and will find a solution.

Where's the photo hosting section of RV.Net?

I use photobucket and set the upload preferences to resize the photo to 800x600.

When posting photos here, or other forums, I copy the "IMG" URL from photobucket over to my message posting.

Works flawless for me, and has since 2008 when I starting using photobucket.

There are at least dozes free sites that will host pictures for you.
I found Rv.net hosting a bit annoying. It will automatically downsize the pictures, so details are lost and I don't have a list of attachments, meaning I can not find the picture in my files.
If I want to reuse the picture in another tread, I have to find my old topic and copy the address from there, or download the picture again.
This is huge forum, that makes good money from our presence here. I would expect more.

How hard is it to put 640 in the width part when inserting your link to you picture? That's all you have to do!

Or use this web site to post pictures, then you can upload them from your computer and not use a host for your pictures....

Just add this to you favorites bar.

Folks, quit complaining and go over and read the quickies about how to post pictures, especially using the picture upload App. It works, does exactly what you are asking for, its free, its fast, and doesn't require much except a little common sense to use. And I'm not even a moderator!
