Price Aside, Which one would you chose Hensley or Propride?

I am fortunate to live within an hour of both manufacturers. I visited both and was much more impressed with ProPride's hitch. I know they are very similar, but the 3P was thicker and more heavy-duty looking, in my opinion. Sean even drove my Expy and trailer around a bit to offer help in set up of the hitch.

I trolled Craigslist for about a year and couldn't find a used Hensley or 3P for a decent price (rusted out pieces of junk for $1,500? No way!).

I ended up purchasing a new 3P for the price of a rebuilt Hensley.

I don't need either one. I have 16,700 miles on my hitch with zero complaints. That being said, I would pick the propride. The owner Sean would be the best to ask about both hitches as he an expert on the Hensley, as well as his own. He can tell you the differences and can explain them to you. He will also help you with the setup and answer your questions.

I don't have either, but did research them. I would go with the Propride since the inventor of the hitch is with that company and it has improvements that are not licensed to Hensley. I'm sure someone will correct me if I got that wrong, but that is what I remember from my research.
