"16 Ram 6.7 returned towing from Florida. Unhooked, Parked in the garage and a few days later I was going to go for an oil change and it won't start. All it does is click. I have power and the batteries check okay. I can't figure out what is wrong.

Who?
The dude with the dead batteries or the dozen guys telling him he has dead batteries?

Now there's nothing wrong coming on a forum asking a question when you already know the answer. :B

Extremely unlikely with such low miles on a Denso Starter.

My OEM batteries only lasted 5.5 years. Didn't even get 6, much less 7 out of them.

Im firmly on the "it's your batteries" train. It's definitely not a fuse.

When my batteries gave up the ghost, it was with no warning. One day worked fine, next day dead. Other powered accessories worked.

As others have said, get your batteries tested. Test them individually.

Could be the starter or a mouse chewed thru a wire or an alien electromagnetic force field causing the issue too, but itโ€™s still probably the batteriesโ€ฆ
And the OP seems to be a hands off pontificatorโ€ฆ.or maybe isnโ€™t that concerned aboot it based on his posts.

Tried jumping to start, still just one click. I think it must be a fuse.
Power to every thing else.

Well when my batteries or batteries failed at about six years of age, I had power, but not enough to crank the engine.
I have push button start, and just would not crank. I did jump start off a JD 1435 diesel lawn mower, let the mower charge the truck for several minutes before cranking. Just be sitting down when you get the price, it is going to be $350 to $500 for the pair.

ON EDIT: with my old 2001 Ram CTD, the batteries started to fail, I needed a jump start at the airport parking lot. It took about 20 minutes for a Ford Ranger to build enough charge to start it, and it only needed to turn about a half a revolution to start.

I tried to jump start a Ford one time...only one battery was shot...but it made jumpstarting impossible.

Listen to everyone...one way or the other the 7 year old batteries need to go.

IT'S NOT A FUSE :S
