Recently purchases 2001 Thor TT came with soft spot in bathroom floor. On first trip, that spot got wet. Seemed to be getting wet from underneath, like perhaps water migrating to that low spot and pooling up froum underneath vinyl sheet flooring. Have been trying to figure out source of water since. Kind of suspected plumbing leak somewhere rather than a roof leak because no obvious stains or visible indications of water coming in anywhere on ceiling. But not at all sure and so far not able to locate an obvious plumbing leak either. Got a good rain last night, so checked this morning and sure enough, soft spot on bathroom floor is wet.
So... There must be a roof leak after all. Maybe getting in and running behind wall and under floor?
Took a quick look at the roof and all the caulking looks suspect to me. Rather than try to pinpoint the source of the leak, I'm thinking I should just re-seal it all. Every seam, around every vent and duct.
Questions is, what are best practices and products to go about this? A quick google search turned up EternaBond as a promising looking way to go, but I think some caulking around edges and curves where it would be difficult to tape would still be in order. I'd really like to hear some informed opinions.
