replacing vinyl floor, planning for expansion

I'm thinking about replacing the vinyl flooring in my 03 camper (its worn, lifted in some areas, ready to go). I've seen a lot of posts about how to do it and different materials, etc, but most materials will expand and contract depending on the temp. What I want to know is, how do you handle expansion / contraction in areas like the trip piece at the door that covers the floor, or around the two fittings in the floor that your table support poles go into? To make it a nice clean fit I would think you would remove those pieces, lay the floor, then replace those pieces, but wouldn't that prevent the floor from expanding and contracting in those areas?
Thanks

I would remove them then reinstall after the vinyl was laid. won't affect movement by a large amount. Did that with ours and had no problems in three years. Even the cabinets, lower were removed then reinstalled.
