Having grown up at the end of the soda-pop, bubble gum era. I well remember the style. Nostalgic for sure but not big enough for the type of camping we do.

Also really fun for those who like Glamping.

There certainly is a niche for everyone in this hobby. ๐Ÿ™‚
Twenty six foot 2010 Dutchmen Lite pulled with a 2011 EcoBoost F-150 4x4.

Just right for Grandpa, Grandma and the dog.

I also found a good selection of radial whitewall tires and should be able to find them with the proper load rating for the trailer.

I do have wide whitewalls and surprising enough it came with Bias Ply tires that remind me of when I started as an auto tech in the 60'S. Have had no problems with them. I believe they are made by Corker.

Here's an interesting thread about Corker tires.

I'd be concerned about the tires. In order to keep the retro look you really need the wide whitewalls. Who makes those?

I have a Riverside Retro 2017 Model 199FKS that is great. Was 25K before trade in and indeed draws attention in the CG. At the time was the only one with a slide. Is listed as a 21 foot but overall is 25 feet.

We have friends who own one. They love theirs. It's a smaller, single axle (I think 19/20'). Price is high though.

I have a neighbor considering one but I thought they are a little pricey. I guess it depends if you want an nostalgia look They are sure to draw attention in the CG, makes for a good way to meet people.

Iโ€™ve met 2 owners who were very pleased with theirs. Both were recent purchases and were the dual axle models.

The Retro trailers I have seen are very expensive given what you get. They look good while towed by a retro classic car... I think the appeal for them is likely to be a small number of classic vehicle buffs who prefer new replica vs. restoring an old trailer.
