Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon , Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse carving are all musts. Do not ask for the English meaning of Grand Tetons 🙂

If up at Yellowstone don't forget Mt Rushmore & Chief Crazyhorse memorial just off I 16 ? . With the airline prices at the moment $1137 to LA we are thinking about another trip & where to fit it in between our Europe trip of 3 months , 2 months in RV travel .

Cheers Tom in Oz

I visiting multiple National Parks is on your agenda, then consider the yearly pass so you don't have to pay entry fees at each park you visit.

Doug,
Fresno will probably be warm when you arrive 100F/38C, but you'll kick yourself if you haven't been to Yosemite and not run up there. The park's south entrance is about an hour or so from FAT and although the park will no doubt be busy, it'll be worth it. If you go, swing by Glacier Pt. on the way to the valley for outstanding views of Half Dome, El Capitan and Yosemite Valley. Enjoy your stay while here in the states.

BEST MUSEUM EVER!!!

I really enjoyed that museum.

Our loop trip took us through Cody, then to Yellowstone.

...visit to Yellowstone pretty much warrants an exit of the park to the south, through Grand Tetons and on to Jackson Hole, WY.

Hit Glacier first, then Yellowstone, then Tetons.

On Going to the Sun Road in Glacier, tall and wide rigs aren't allowed, so a tour might be the best alternative to get to see the park.

The Red Tour Bus in Glacier is well worth the price.
The Grand Tetons are also very nice.
