St George Utah campgrounds

Looking for recommendations for campgrounds in the St George Ut area. Planning on a week or two in Jan or Feb. I'd like to winter there but family commitments prevent that for the time being. Surrounding area is fine also. Mesquite? Overton? I'd like to make reservations now if its not too late.

Mesquite area has a few nice parks and will be much warmer in the winter.

Leeds RV, 97 S. Main Valley Rd., Leeds UT. (435) 879-2450. About 5 miles north of St. George. Easy on ond off I-15 and a nice quite little park. Stayed there last September and really enjoyed.

We were in St. George in 2015 and stayed at the Temple View RV Park. It's an average park located right off the interstate, and we didn't have any issues while there. The staff was very friendly and they were a big help with questions about the local area and the National Parks.
The location is only about 1 mile away from a Camping World store which is convenient for getting those things that were left at home.
St. George is a beautiful area, and we're looking forward to going back there next year. Yes, we'll probably stay at the Temple View RV park again.
Happy camping!

We camped at Sand Hollow State Park for a long weekend a couple years ago. Very nice park...weโ€™d camp there again.
