Hi all. Kind of a specific question.

Has anybody installed truck camper tie downs on their 2017 Tundra yet?
I called torklift but they have not done fitment yet and could not confirm.

I would simply order the 2016 version and hope for the best, but it would be great if anyone here could confirm.

Thanks and regards.

That's not what Torklift told me regarding fitment of their tiedowns.

They did have tie-downs for my 2017 Ford.
Those brackets are very frame-specific, so I would take pictures of the frame of 2016 and 2017 models to compare.
I had couple of holes filled up with paint and that added 1hr to installation time.

I considered buying a 2017 Tundra but when Torklift said they did not have tiedowns designed for it, I hesitated. To Torklift's credit, they did offer to make a set to fit but that they would need my truck for about three days (at my expense for motels, etc) to make them. I would get some discount or credit or something. They are easy to work with.

I since chose to buy a 2014 Tundra, partially because of the lack of Torklift tiedowns for the 2017, but mostly because I was offered a good deal on a certified used vehicle with the options I wanted.

Seems late in the 2017 model year not to have these parts/add-ons. That means.....?
