Anyone have this TT? We bought one last spring and curious how everyone likes theirs? Pros or Cons?

Any interesting mods to this TT?

The slide and chairs in our TimberRidge 240RKS are similar to the photo.

The chairs are on the slide floor and come in with the slide. We've adjusted them to where we want and leave them there!

Bought the trailer with the chairs instead of the couch sight-unseen. Was pleasnatly surprised by the deep side windows in the slide that come with them.

After looking a a bigger pic (besides my (iPhone) our chairs are the same. It also looks to me as though your chairs come in with the slide? They don't on my 260rls. That's why I have to turn one chair sideways to retract the slide. Pain in the butt (and my back).

From the pic I'd say the chairs are the same. Do you have to turn one chair sideways to retract the slide!

larv,

Can you tell me if your recliners are the same as those pictured with this unit here? The Windriver 250RDSW has an option of having a pair of recliners along with bigger "picture" windows in the slide out.

Only a couple of troubles, nothing major. Diamond plating was put on the rear bumper at the factory and the rivets fastening the diamond plate extended into the bumper and I couldn't slide the stinky slinky into the bumper so I built my own. Factory doesn't install the diamond plating anymore.

Very limited outside storage compartments, only one, but we knew that when we bought the TT.

The recliners are comfy but one has to be turned sideways to allow the slide to retract but we knew that also when we bought the TT.

Heading down to AZ shortly after Christmas for 2 months and anticipating no problems.

We don't have one, but like what we see (online) of the Timber Ridge 250RDS and Windriver 250RDSW. We're located in the Northeast, so there's no dealers near us to be able to check them out. Biggest concern we hear of is quality control, sometimes lack of it. We know no RV is going to roll of the line perfect, but wonder just how simple or serious some issues are.

Maybe you could tell us how you like yours and what problems you've had with yours.

I've noticed a bigger following of Outdoors RV folks over on the IRV2.com forums. Maybe take a look over there.
