Hi
I have a 2016 GMC diesel dully carrying a 10'2 camper fully load with gear
I put about 75psi in front and 80 psi in the rears . Also have
Timbre said install on rear . But seems to ride very rough.
So I was just wondering what air pressure everyone else
Uses
Thanks
Dave

As said, I go by manufacturer's door sticker. 80-F / 80-R , rides just fine on my F 350 SRW, -10-2 NL.

Usually tire pressures are more in the rear. Is that right? and/or is that due to using air bags?

Not necessarily. With a dually no. SRW probably but should get actual weights.

My AF990 fully loaded adds less than 200 lbs to the front but the Cummins engine is heavy so there is a lot of weight up there to begin with. I run the fronts between 75 and 80 psi. Loaded my rear axle weight is right at 8000 lbs. I run 65 to 70 psi in the rears.

You do not need to inflate the rear tires to 80 psi on a dually unless you are REALLY heavy.

The air bags are used primarily for leveling. When the camper is loaded with a full water tank ,food gear, clothes etc. 30 lbs of air in the bags adjusts the truck to where the overload springs are just making contact with the stable loads. The door sticker is 75 lbs front(single) 60 lbs rear (dual) cargo including passengers not to exceed 5084. No need to increase tire pressure. Tires are nitrogen filled, with very little pressure drop in colder weather.

I've been running 75 front,60 rear which is what the door sticker calls for. 30 lbs in the air bags when loaded heavy. Upper stable loads and Rancho 9000 set to 9.When unloaded, air pressure the same in the tires,5 lbs in the air bags and ranchos at 4front,1 rear. Rides great loaded, rides like a truck empty!

If you have the factory tires and wheels, I suggest you use the PSI as stated in your trucks user manual or the door decal.

If you have aftermarket tires, of a different size than factory, use the tire manufactures recommendation.

I think it is worth noting, you are driving a truck, not the family car. It will ride differently with and without a TC.

10' TC will put about 90% of the weight on rear axle, so front suppose to be inflated to empty weight, or slightly above.
I keep 65 psi in front of my dually, 75 psi rear for 6500lb camper.
Best would be weight the axle and check tire manufacturer site for recommendation.
