Truck campers at Hershey?

DW and I are planning on doing the long trek from NC to Hershey next month to take in the show and do some research to determine if we're gonna' stick with what we got or swap around a little. Of particular interest are truck campers -- which have had a poor showing at local RV shows. I was going down the list of manufacturers that will be at Hershey and I didn't see Host, I see Lance, but don't know if their truck campers will be part of what they bring, I didn't see Northwood, Chalet, etc.

Anyone been to the Hershey show? Is it worth the trek? Any truck campers present?

Thanks.

Linda is right. The Gettysburg Jamboree is the place to see TCs not the Hershey show. http://www.truckcamping.net/

Hello there from PA,

Although the Hershey show doesn't have much to offer along the lines of truck campers, it's a great week to visit here. The North East Truck Camper group will be at the Gettysburg Campgrounds from 9/17-9/21. The campground is a mere 53 miles to the south of the Hershey show. I can assure you that any of the group would be glad to show off their rigs and talk truck camping!

Great timing!

Wow...that IS great timing! Thanks for the trip. I'll do my best to work this in.

I don't see a lot of truck campers on the east coast compared to what I see out west.

I was there last year. I saw Lance, Host ( just the Mammoth model), and Palomino. Sometimes a manufacturer will show up at the last minute and you will happen to stumble across them. Dont expect a big showing of TCs at any Pennsylvania RV show. I never saw EC, Northern Lite, Northwood, or Chalet, to name a few, at any Pa RV show.
