VIDEO: Complete, start to finish removal of old bath fan and installation of new Fantastic Vent Fan. The video's a bit long but detailed and you can FF to relevant parts of interest.
Truck Camper Bathroom. Installation of Fantastic Vent Fan.

The fan is much quieter than the old factory fan and moves a lot more air in or out. It drys the bathroom after a shower much faster. It gives us a second Fantastic Fan to better control air circulation within the TC. We can use various combinations of opened windows and fan combinations blowing in, out, and combinations of all these factors to control the climate inside the TC. It was a great hit when we were in Florence, OR. earlier this summer. The two Fantastic Fans working in tandem kept us very comfortable. Charlie our cat seemed to like the breeze through the opened windows the fans created. He'd lay down next to an open window to keep cool.
Very happy with the results of this installation.
Hope you find the information useful.

Glad folks are getting something from the video.

Victory402:
The foam gasket is supposed to be a sealed cell foam that will not absorb water. I've had it on my main Fantastic fan for about 3 years now with no problem.

Pjay9:
I think Bedlam likes the Max Air too. Having the two Fans works pretty good for moving air and making the TC comfortable when you're out there somewhere and AC is not an option. I also like that it dries the bathroom quickly. Did you use the DICOR self leveling caulk or something else to seal the roof? I did like the DICOR!

On the big picture of two fans:
I do my best to set us up so we don't need or want a generator.
80 watts solar with PWM and 4 gauge cable from the alternator to the TC batteries keeps us going. Currently we use a cheap 400 watt Costco inverter for a handful of chargers, computers, and a 22" box fan for outside bug control. Looking to replace with either a 600 or 800 pure sine wave inverter. That's as far as I go on AC and still feel like I'm not at home. For us, the point was to get out there and not bring it all with you as much as possible.

Jeff,I took the old nasty bath fan and tossed it...used my Fantastic from the main cabin in the bath and then installed a MAXX FAN in main cabin...now I can move air and be quiet at the same time!!

Now if Fantastic fans came equiped for the front escape hatch with emergency release life would be perfect! We did the upgrade on our old camper as well since the original fan was on its last legs, noisy and mostly useless. Installing the AC unit in place of the central roof vent removed the ability to ventilate without AC running, i.e. air in from the back out from the front or the reverse. Maybe I need to invent one and get rich at last!

Great video, thank you for taking the time to help us all out.
Not to sound negative, but that gasket looks a little flimsy to me. I'm not sure how well putty tape would work with the plastic flange as a replacement.
Great upgrade though.
