Vintage TT needs stabilizing, but stumped

Recently acquired a 1964 Kustom Koach that I am converting to a mobile craft workshop to accompany our 2006 Copper Canyon Sprinter, both parked on our seasonal lot in Alberta.

She rides pretty low to the ground and came with 2 small jacks to put underneath but still bounces quite a bit when I walk around inside.

I am open to suggestions on how to stabilize her. Maybe better, bigger jacks that raise her higher? Plastic blocks under the jacks as well?

(I’d include a picture but I don’t know how to do so with a URL.)

Thanks for any suggestions.

Jack Stands are an economic solution.

A couple of years ago I used 4 on a Scotty. Worked very well.
Lowering the tongue raises the rear of the camper.
Insert jacks under metal and raise em till they are touching or nearly touching.
Raise the crank and it puts weight on the rear jacks.
Put jacks under the front, near the tongue, and lower the crank a little,
and your camper is sitting on 4 jack stands.
No rock and roll when you walk inside.

It's quick and easy to use Jack Stands.
Harbor Freight has em two to a pack. Decent price.

If you're in Edmonton, head on over to Princess Auto or Canadian Tire. They will have lots to choose from.

Not sure what jack stands refers to... those plastic “LEGO” blocks?

Inexpensive jack stands.

A bit better ones from Harbor Freight.

A variety from Northern Tool.

No, the kind of stands you use to change a tire at home.

Ah. So “scissor jacks”! I wondered if those would work. Thanks!

Like cement blocks? (Greetings from a Windsor native now in Edmonton!)

Like Chris Bryant above...I used 4 jack stands placed under the frame near each corner and our TT was rock solid. It had a pretty beefy frame.

Some of the older TT used lightweight frames so you may need to place two more jack stands to support the middle.

RR ties or cement blocks under the frame.
