I have a 95 Lance Squire Lite 8'6'' that weighs @2K dry. It's done me right for 15+years and is basically all I need. I've upgraded with Solar and Power Center. Here is my question, I want shower that's big enough, not phone booth size. My truck is a DM 2500HD GMC CC SB. Is there a camper with a bigger shower and more water capacity. I boondock 90% of the time. Of Course weight is a main factor. I think I know the answer but let me know what you think would be the way to go. Model of camper suggestions, no slide and i'm now by myself.

I have an 815 which is the same basic camper as you and I'm in the same boat with the bathroom. The lightest upgrade you will find is a 915 but that is going to be about another 400#.

Ignore what truck you have. Shop for the TC and then see what truck you need.

I bet your truck will need a trade, too.

Or, just keep what you have a carry extra water and a portable holding tank.

I doubt you will find comfortable shower in 2000lb camper.
If you find newer 2000 lb camper at all.
"More is better" made it to RV industry years ago and even pop-up campers weight more than that.
But I've been surprised with modern technology more than once, so everything is possible.
From my experience carrying fresh water is easy.
Carrying gray water in tank placed under rear bumper can do really do a trick to your truck.
I had 200-300lb of gray water in my big camper and dually start to do heavy propurlsoning.
So I am more into tent-cabin with solar shower bag idea.Obviously not for winter.
Good luck figuring it all out.

I did a lot of research and tire kicking before we bought the Northern Light 8-11 dry bath, and we ordered it with the U shaped dinette, NO air conditioner, electric and gas Hot water tank. We also do a lot of what you call boondocking, what I call dry camping. Love the camper, and so far in 13 months we have 42,000 kms on it...
