That makes absolutely no sense? If your slide seals were properly designed by the manufacturer and are in good shape and actually sealing the opening there should be no moisture leaking in.
To the OP. I would suggest that you do a Seal Test after a thorough inspection of the seals. Any nicks or cracks in the seals can allow water in.
