Need some help! This past weekend, we had some nasty rain and water leaked into our camper from the floor of the bedroom slideout -- appears it was coming in from the tracking rail underneath the carpet, and then leaking all into the carpet inside the slideout. I checked the top and side seals and all appear to be in good shape, and for the life of me cannot determine how the water came in from the bottom as it did.
I've checked the outside - top and sides, and then from the inside all around - the only place it's coming in is from the bottom of inside the camper. I see no evidence of water on the outside bottom of the slideout.
Can you give me advice/ideas on where to check/investigate further?

You mean you purposely put your slide out of level?? Doesn't sound like your slide motors would like that very much.
No it only takes a tiny bit to help, I know many other who do the same especially is leaving the slide open almost all the time in seasonal sites. Seals can fail anytime.

I would want to ask what brand camper it is!!! But, I will refrain. We once had a TT that did this and it was an on-going problem from Day One. In and out of the shop a zillion times and never settled. Luckily it had no carpet and could be mopped up each time. In the end after much wailing and gnashing of teeth and studying the thing my husband came to conclusion it was "a design flaw" and could never be remedied. End of story and lesson learned. That makes absolutely no sense? If your slide seals were properly designed by the manufacturer and are in good shape and actually sealing the opening there should be no moisture leaking in.
To the OP. I would suggest that you do a Seal Test after a thorough inspection of the seals. Any nicks or cracks in the seals can allow water in.
I completely agree but just do this for added assurance, I would rather have the water naturally run off than pooling on the slide.
