I was thinking about up grading my original water pump. It is in a 2005 Bigfoot TC.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

Here is what Reddog1 did:

Here is his post in a "anyone added an accumulator tank"?

As a note I am surprised that this topic has not come up in quite a few years....

Add one of these as some of us have and you will love it. Fill your coffee pot and the pump will not come on. Flush the toilet quite a few times at night, wash dishes etc. and no more pulsing of the pump... You will be a happy camper!

I have not looked too far into new camper yet (bought it, used it 1 week, and put a cover on it) but on my 5er the pump was installed with PEX (plastic) pipe. replacing the inlet and outlet pipe with rubber lines isolate some of the noise that transmittes through the pipe.

I found rubber lines with correct fittings (or adapters) at a big box home store to do the job. or you can look up Shurflow pump silencer kit for $25.00 and save the time of making your own.

I had one die in my Open Range, so I went with this one
Its much quieter than what was stock.
It pumps water well.
I already had a 1 gallon pressure tank inline, which is still hooked up. (new pump said I don't need one)

Don't get this one.

Sounds like a sick cow.
