What do you use to lube your stabilizer jacks?

What do you use to lube your stabilizer jacks, both the threaded rod part and the various pivot points in the mechanism?

I use the same products rbpu uses and the same wash method. I have found that chain lube works and lasts a little longer than some.

I spray them with a silicon lubricant.

I use about any spray on lube. It all seems to wash off in the next rain storm I drive through. :W

WD40 a couple times a year. Helps to prevent rust and provides a little lubrication without making them oily/greasy.

Yup, furniture polish is NOT a lube, it's a wax finish. If you this it doesn't attract dirt, ask your wife 😉

BTW, the dry "teflon" works well too

Pledge furniture spray on the threads. It doesn't attract dirt.
