Well it is time to replace the OEM wipers on my 2012 Ford. i am reluctant to start frequently sticking new inserts in.

Where should I go to get OEM quality like on the new vehicle? Maybe Ford parts?

I vote for Rain-X as well. I've been using Rain-X Quantum. They work great in the winter as they are one piece. I haven't used winter blades in a long time. On a 2015 Subaru and 2003 Dakota.

X2. Rain-X winter blades...all year round. Never know what one will encounter in the Colorado mountains.

The wipers on my truck go bad every few months. I've tried every brand out there with little success. On the other hand my wifes 2006 mercury still has the originals and they work fine...You tell me??

You can get Motorcraft. I went with Bosch I-beam style. It rains a lot here and they have worked well.

Good luck,

Replacement wipers from a store certainly are NOT what they used to be like. I bought 3 different priced replacements from Walmart and a parts store and they ALL squeeked, didn't cover enough of the windshile, didn't sit right in the off position, etc etc.
Ditto on OEM from Ford.

ANCO 31-Series wiper blades are OEM quality and are pretty reasonably prices at Rock Auto or even at Amazon. (Google ANCO 31-22)

Costco sells a good quality wiper. They're usually Bosch.

You haven't changed your wipers in 5 years?

I'm guessing anything will be an improvement. I get whatever Costco carries. I think Goodyear but who knows who actually makes them.
