Wiper blades

I have a 2019 Ford F-250 that I purchased March 2020 and the original wiper blades would scrape and shudder in light rain so I replaced them and then replaced the replacements. I’m wondering if this is one of those windshields that are a problem for wiper blades. Any similar experiences or suggestions?

Good cleaning....soap/water thoroughly rinsing and then squeegee dry or micofiber towel

Afterwards ...Apply Rain-X
*Follow cleaning/applying instructions on bottle!

Light rain...won't need wipers and when you do use them they will not shudder

Had that shudder issue when bought truck brand new in 2007
After using Rain-X...no more shudder---reapply yearly
**And trucks sits outside in AZ
Is it time for your medication or mine?

In owning and/or driving probably 100 different vehicles in the 30+ years I've had a drivers license, I cannot say I've ever heard of this phenomena.
What is it that makes a windshield a problem for wiper blades?

The wipers should function properly for several years, unless an obvious reason, such as sitting in extreme sunlight/heat continuously.

Another issue that will cause the wiper shudder you describe, is using hot wax treatment at the car wash. Try giving your windshield a good cleaning when replacing wipers, to avoid contaminates.
