Measured the height of it's future home. Unfortunately, just 9'10". I guess I'll have to put it on a dolly or trailer to get it inside the 24' x 48' building. Plenty of room otherwise.

Exercise is a good thing.

At least that's what I've been told.

Our camper jacks hve been noisy and getting worse every year and we finally replaced all 4 before they failed completely.
The old ones were hand cranks and we replaced them with the same.
We have 4 handles and we both do the cranking and we store the camping on stands that are truck bed height so it's not a big job.
Cranking them all the way back up after the camper is on the truck is the biggest part of the job and we could use portable drills to do that but the exercise doesn't hurt us

If you need to replace the outside shower and if it does not have shut-off valves I would recommend adding one to each of the H&C lines.

My camper did not have these but I added them so I can keep the small portion of hose isolated and filled with RV AF in the winter while still using the inside plumbing. I do not want to risk water getting to the shower head in cold weather camping. Not sure why camper mfgrs don't install a set of these valves?
Sold the TC, previous owner of 2 NorthStar pop-ups & 2 Northstar Arrows...still have the truck:

I keep thinking about replacing the outside shower unit. I think I forgot to winterize it 2 years ago. It didn't work last year.

Stealthier???

Yep, "stealthier" works. ๐Ÿ™‚

I would have driven 700 miles for it too.

I wanted a Lance camper and found a really nice one but then found out the the bed opening in my Chevy was too narrow for the one I wanted.

To buy a newer Lance that would fit was out of my price range so I settled for the one I have with no regrets.

Still wish the Lance I wanted would have fit.

I only drove 400 miles. ๐Ÿ™‚

Warming weather, I opened up the camper and getting it unwinterized. Ready to head to the coast for a getaway. It's amazing that just 50 miles up the road, they measured 212" of snow on the ground yesterday and here at the house it's in the 60's daytime and above freezing at night.

I checked the batteries, closed up the water heater from winter, closed the drain valves, cleaned the inside, measured for a solar charge controller location (yay!) washed the windows on the truck/camper and got it ready to drive to the city house in Burbank tomorrow; then to Metro RV to have the fragile Midi Heiki vent replaced. It came in 2 weeks early!!
