Hope to get to Mobile or even Biloxi, MS tomorrow. I was stationed in Biloxi at Kessler AFB 51 years ago.

We'll be heading west from there... california in a couple of months... home in August
We hope to see some of you over the next 5 months.

Don't tell anyone where we are:W

================================================================
Inquirees have made me think a bit...

and to share 2012 SPRING LOOP

the general plan... miss the tornados.... be home before the first of June

We are heading south thru Jimmy Carter country to Tallassee... and he coast... getting away from the middle America E/W interstates and the tornado alleys.

We'll be heading west and then down toward Brownsville... then follow the border to NM... North as far as rocky Mtn NP and then head east thru Nashville toward the end of May... we have never been inside the State Capital.

I'll be posting some as we go...

PS... the camperport did great in the storms, no damage that I can see... best $3500 I spent last year. I highly recommend it.

We seldom know where we're going to be

Last night a Roswell police car came to where we were parked... Called me by name

Officer Hart had a message from a friend who is also on the road very far from here in his super stealth TC

It turns out that they are friends.

He visited with us in the camper for quire a while... He and his wife are going to dinner with us the next night at Tia Juana's... then again last night at Peppers....

The food here is great, the people are friendly and the museums and galleries are wonderful.

We have bought diesel at $2.039 in Texas on this trip andf paid $2.85/gal in Hobbs... hope that you had a good time.

Had a great time. Went to the WWII National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg. Went to Bandera for lunch with an old friend and returned to K'ville via SR16.

Had good food and fellowship with friends made at other TC rallies.

Even won a T-shirt for having owned the most number of Lance campers.

We did the Roswell Museum that you mentioned yesterday... We spent a lot of time in the Goddard section.

Janet and I really enjoyed the entrance to the Goddard section. We know exactly where were were with our kids at 12:33am on December 7th, 1972 We were sitting on the Indian River on the western edge of the Space Center watching the Apollo XVII blast off to the moon.... it was the final mission. It was about 3 1/2 hours late firing.

We were in our 2 year old truck camper... I built a deck on top just for this moon shot. ABC News mounted a camera up their with us.

The kids were 9, 6, and 3....they'll never forget.

I took pictures of everything in the exhibit... some day they'll be in the trip report.

Dear Janet & Chet,
We're happy to hear that your still awanderin,
One to remember-
Happiness is Good Health and a Bad Memory.

We're tuning up for our first foray, this has been our first year since acquiring our TC that we parked the rig all winter, lots of family stuff required our attention. I'm in my 79th year and, with the luck of the Irish on full, still aiming to keep on chuggling.

We are the lucky guys whose life partners jab us with pointed sticks and wish to roll on to new adventures. A rare condition in this day and age.

You two have generated a great deal of admiration as a result of the many of your adaptations and innovations as you've traveled far and near. While many of your contemporaries have vegetated on the sofa. Hip, Hip, Hooray!
Love to all,
Linda & Skip
