Is there more room in a travel trailer or fifth wheel of comparable size?Re: Looking for specific floor planI believe the fireplace is electric, not propane.Re: RV Pole BarnPole barns make a jump in price when you go from 14' side walls to 16' sidewalls since you need bigger poles (more than going from 12' to 14'). You can't get a 14' overhead door with a 14' sidewall though. A sliding door would get you the most overhead clearance.Re: License plate location ?Doesn't matter where it is. Must be mounted horizontally on the rear of the vehicle and lit when it is dark. The plates are read automatically by a trailing police vehicle and the scanner will find it, wherever it is.Re: Is Artificial Intelligence swooping down on us?Not sure about "artificial" intelligence but they are watching us. My new phone has all my wife's contact list on it (not by my doing). Obviously your wife's and your accounts are linked somehow (possibly through an email address?). My wife started getting ads about something that she had only talked about. Scary. It's all about the money. Was watching a luxury yacht show on TV and one of the yachts could be operated from an open air pilot station, one deck below from an enclosed pilot station or from an APP ON YOUR PHONE! Ridiculous.Re: Express 3500 12 passenger van ? Towing experience? We have a 2003 Express 6.0L towing a 30 ft TT. Crosswinds never bothered me much. Don't particularly like towing with a 3.42 rear end which most vans have. Suburbans too (we had one of those also). We also have a pickup with the 6.0L 3.73 rear end and it pulls much nicer with that. Van is OK for flatland towing, fuel mileage is 16 mpg, 9 mpg towing.Re: Confused about Truck Class when titling, PAIn Michigan it is based on the max gvw of the truck. You'd have to be a class 5 in Michigan (but we have weight class plates here). Doesn't matter what you are towing for the titling of the truck, only in the license of a commercial driver does the weight of a trailer come into play.Re: Silverado 2017 LTZ shake in front endWith the tires rotated could one of the rears have been a little unbalanced and just not noticeable because it was on the rear? Now it's on the front and it's an issue?Re: Mackinaw islandBikes definitely make it more interesting. We've always enjoyed the road back through the center of the island. Poking about in the cemeteries. We enjoy history which there is a lot of there. Also lots of "touristy" stuff.Re: Tell me your horror stories (Diesel) ppine wrote: It is humorous to me that anyone thinks the fuel cost for a diesel is higher than for a gas engine. Guess again. I'm choking on diesel prices here. Can find gas for $2.29, diesel for $3.22.
