Guess the responses are a moot point since the OP never returned before their trip.

While I agree with the above I say go for it. Yes definitely winterize the coach so you don't break any plumbing and use the bath house. But it's still a roof over your head, a comfy bed, and a heater. But if you do not have at least electricity hookups where you're thinking of going I would say don't go. Your battery is only really good for one nights heat before it dies.

Welcome. I agree with Bid_time. Previously lived about 20 miles from Gettysburg, it's a bad time of year to camp there. I think they just got snow and you will have freezing temps this weekend. Also, I think campgrounds in that area are closed for the season. If you still plan on going, I would consider winterizing the RV and use the bath houses for water and showers. Your Rv isn't really equipped to be a winter camper and your lines could freeze.

I hope you realize that - for a newbie - camping in the 30’s and 40’s can be challenging and not conducive a good camping experience. It could be a bit much for a first time ever trip.

30-40s F, shouldn't be an issue if everything is working. It's when it gets down into the 20s that concerns start to arise.
