Around Jacksonville FL West or east?

Just looking for an update on the choice of routs on southbound and return.. Lots of traffic either way, I know . Any local advice on the choice would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

East side loop of I-295 is 2 miles further than straight through town, but it is much easier driving.

The "9B" exit on the southside of the east loop will also save some time and is as good a road as I-295.

I go right up the heart of JAX on 95. . . . I usually plan my nightly stop in Jacksonville, so I plan my departures around the morning commute... No issues

East side. As a bonus, you go over the very impressive Dams Point Bridge!

East! It's not any shorter or quicker but, it's a much quieter and easier ride.

I think the Eastside is better and maybe shorter...C
