I'm planning my route from Cape may NJ to the Interlaken RV Park in Rhinebeck NY, and see that RV's are not permitted on the Taconic State Parkway. Can anyone offer an alternate route? I will be driving a 36ft Class A with a tow vehicle.

The air show is weekends only but you can do the museum through the week.

I started with nothing and I still have most of it left

I never fail, I just succeed in finding out what doesn't work

I would take I87 north to Exit 19 (Kingston) and take the Kingston Rhinecliff bridge. That will bypass the city of Kingston and put you in the town of Rhinebeck without traveling through Poughkeepsie.

X2 - avoid the mid-Hudson bridge and use Kingston bridge...

Was just at Interlaken two weeks ago- real nice place and great folks running it.... can't say enough about Sue and Steve!

Be sure to visit some of the local wineries if you have a chance!

Downtown Rhinebeck is great for dinner, lunch and shopping... 25 min south is the FDR estate, Vanderbilt estate, Culinary Institute, and the walk across the Hudson...

Also, check out (if you like beers) Hyde Park Brewing Company

This is the way I would go.
