We are traveling from Flagstaff to Kanab. Is it better to travel 89 to Page and then Kanab? We originally planned to travel 89 to 89A to Fredonia and up to Kanab because we had read that portions of 89 were closed. We are pulling a 28 foot tow behind travel trailer. Thanks for the info!
We prefer 89 unless you cam be at Lee's Ferry when the whitewater boats put in in the mornings.

Both are scenic. It's a tough decision. On Hwy 89A there's Navajo Bridge and Lee's Ferry area shortly after 89 and 89A split. Then you'll climb a mountain up to about 8,000ft at Jacob Lake in the pine trees, then descend.
Via Hwy 89 there's Page and Lake Powell. Horseshoe Bend overlook, Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon Dam. Do you have any time to stop and see these sights?
Both roads are very doable in any RV.
