Any one familiar enough with Minuete Man Bikeway, (Lexinton, Bedford) Mas. to advise us where is the best place to park the Jeep when we take the Bike Way?
We will be spending a few days touring Boston need some help with area.

If you are going to Lexington and Concord, you can also ride your bike along the battle road - check out Minuteman Historical Park.

Alewife Subway Station is on the border of Arlington/Cambridge - easy way to get into Boston - bike trail goes from there to Fresh Pond.

Bike it all the time. Park in Bedford at the old train station (I think it's Railroad Ave)-there's a decent parking lot there, along with restrooms, and a couple of stores. If you go on a weekend, go early. It fills up quickly. From there you can bike all the way into Cambridge. Just be aware that in Arlington the path jogs to the other side of the street. You'll come to a small common and it looks like the path ends, but if you cross the main road to the right (carefully), cross the first road that intersects to the left (there's a coffee shop on the right side of the road) and go behind buildings on the left the path continues. We usually just bike from Bedford to Arlington. Hubby has a knee that doesn't like biking as much as he does.

The path has some rough spots on it and you will have to dodge kids learning how to bike, people walking, and the "professional" bikers who have no regard for anyone but themselves. It's truly not for anyone trying to make speed. However, despite all of that it's a great place. You can get off in downtown Lexington (there's also parking there) and enjoy some history, shopping and some good restaurants and snack shops. Arlington is the same-not so much historical stuff but shopping and places to eat. Past that and I can't tell you much because we've never gone past there. Arlington has a great vibe-it's city but lively, not rushed.
