Just wondering what other Canadians use for their ERS plans. As a member of FMCA, I use Coach-Net which used to be their "in-house" plan. However, I see that FMCA has dropped Coach-Net in favour of a plan "powered" by SafeRide RV Motor Club. Also, I see that the Canadian Explorer RV Club has their own ERS for $125 CAD which seems to be a good value.

My Coach-Net plan soon expires, and I'm wondering what to do. (I needed service twice with Coach-Net and they were OK, but wonder if the reason FMCA dropped them is due to a recent decline in service.)

Price-wise, converting to CAD, Coach-Net is the cheapest, followed by the Explorer plan, while the new FMCA plan is the most expensive.

BTW, I'm not interested in the CAA plan.

Any advice, recommendations, etc. would be welcome.

Your pros and cons are exactly why we are going with the Explorers Plan. We are paying a little more than you, but currently have 2 cars + M.H.
Are you going to the Explorer's National Rally? They might have some deals there ? ? ? ?

I know you are not into CAA plans...but you did ask what others use.

I am with BCAA for their RV Premium. Reason being..I do off pavement wanderings and many plans will not provide that coverage. I also have an extended m/k towing limit, so that I am not paying for that last 50 or 60 miles.

Yes I k now there are plans that cover all vehicles but they don't cover off-pavement or are very limited in distance towed. For the few dollars saved by shopping around...and for all the money I have invested in this thing and continue to invest I want the best ERS plan I can get.

No longer pulling but only used Coach Net when we were. I'm from Canada and found their service exceptional on both sides of the border. We kept our existing Coach Net service for the car until it expired this spring. I didn't renew with them or any other service because I don't need it with the car. With my cell phone and my Acuralink service I feel quite comfortable without any roadside service. I highly recommend Coach Net.

Our Good Sam plan is due to expire and we have been shopping around. I think we are going to go with Explorer's Plan. The coverage appears good and we can include our vehicles as well as the RV. Price wise - better than Good Sam (the exchange kills us) and the $10 gift certificate for Camping World that they include, is of little use to us.

We also looked at CAA and eliminated it.

just a week ago I used CN they were great.
