Also, There are Canadian Tire stores all over the place. Google Canadian Tire for locations close to where you trip will take you.
They will have lots of general gear for sale. Check with smaller local tackle shops for regional gear. Check with folks at the campgrounds, or check with local tackle shops for conditions, etc. Some of the marinas have camping and charters available.
I was just up on Northern Vancouver Island where we were catching salmon right off the beach.
