As a photographer, you will appreciate taking the photo tour of the Upper Antelope Canyon rather than the standard one. You have more time & more opportunities to shoot the canyon without others in the picture. Some general information & more photos.

Hoping you are including - Canyon de Chelly - Monument Valley - Page - Antelope Canyon - Mesa Verde - Chaco Canyon - Hovenweep - Anasazi Heritage Center near Dolores - These should be included at some time during your trip. So much to see ---- so little time...........
IMHO, the only time you will need reservations is if there is a rally or something going on that calls in many people - Kids are still in school so should not be a problem - Weather can and will be all over the chart so just be prepared for quick changes in Temperatures as you drive up and down in the areas.
