I-10 west of blythe backed up BAD Labor Day!

Just drove east bound I-10 from CA to AZ. Due to the bridge being down to one lane I-10 was backed up 12 miles in both directions. Took 1 1/2 hours to get thru. Hope that was due to holiday traffic and is not normally that bad!

The alternate routes take as long or longer than just waiting it out in the traffic

...Children - getting back to the OP's post....the bridge went out during a heavy rainstorm therefore down to one lane. I sure hope it's back in service before Quartzsite time in January.
