I 65 S out of Indianapolis thru Bowling Green KY

Anyone been this route recently? Wanting to know about all the construction and waiting times. We went to Nashville, TN in aug. and what usually takes us 5 hrs took us almost 7 hrs. Ready to leave for vacation and wondering if we should go I 75 S and then cut back over to I 65 in Alabama. Thanks Tara

Thanks everyone. Well we have xtra time so we are going down I 75 and then cut back over to Montgomery Ala. Maybe some new sites to see 🙂 Thanks again!

Passed through there in May, roughest stretch of road ever. Thought I had lost teeth and truck parts. Hope it is better now.

There is construction around Columbus also. The road is rough in places north of Taylorsville. And of course lots of trucks and other traffic.

Major construction projects going on in the Louisville area while building the new bridge.
Last 2 miles in Indiana are now 2 lanes south and 2 lanes north from 3 previous. This will go on for the next 2 years.
