Looking for a campground recommendation around Kamloops, thanks! (just a nice, clean spot for a single night on the way to Vancouver)

Thanks everyone, I think we will be staying in salmon arm on the way out, and at lac le jeune on the way back.

The provincial cg's have fairly small sites.
We have a 40 foot MH and found only a couple of site in total between the two cgs.
Provincial parks in BC have very limited length.

There are two great provincial campsites west of Kamloops on the road to Cache Creek.
Both have water and power and a sewer dump station.

If you can drive to Merritt. There is a RV Park there that we have used a couple of times. Clay banks RV Park. It is very nice and it is close to town.

Kamloops RV Park, full hookups, narrow sites, trains and highway noise.
Knutsford RV Park, only a few 50 amp site, weak WIFI, MICE,
Sagebrush RV Park, no sewer....use the dump

Unfortunately Kamloops needs a GOOD park.
Maybe with the up and coming casino this will happen.

Costco is too small for RV parking and Walmart does not allow overnighting.

You may have already been, but the Steelhead Provincial Park at the West End of Kamloops Lake at Savona is a beautiful small campground.

If it just off the Trans Canada Highway, so not good if you plan to take the Coquihalla.

Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park is about 25 miles south of Kamloops, no hookups though.

Kamloops RV Park is on the east side of the city about 15 minutes .

It is adjacent to the BC Wildlife park on the left of the hiway coming from the east. You may wish to call them for a reservation as every time I drive by there it appears to be quite busy.
there is also Sagebrush rv park on the north side of the river near to down town.
I would suggest try the Kamloops RV park first.
