Las Vegas motorcycle day trip

Not exactly RV related but I thought maybe someone could help.

We're headed to Las Vegas next month for 5 days. We always rent a car, but this time, I rented a bike also for one day. We've been to Mt. Charleston, Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, and I went to the Skywalk over the Grand Canyon. My wife isn't interested in doing the Skywalk. Any ideas where to take a day trip on a motorcycle from the strip? I was thinking of heading south towards Route 66 near Kingman. Is there much to see along Route 66 near Vegas? We'll probably be leaving around 9 or 10 in the morning, I don't care when we get back, just as long as it's not like midnight. We also took a car up to Bryce Canyon one time, but that's a haul for one day, especially on a cycle.

The Death Valley ride would be a good one. Also instead of turning at Death Valley junction i would ride to Shoshone and then to Pahrump from there.

Do a Google search for `______ tourism' and put the area, state, town or whatever in the blank space and read what the experts recommend for their location.

You could take US 95 north to Beatty, NV... about 110 miles good 2 lane highway. Turn west on Nevada highway 374. A short in and out into Rhyolite about 10 miles west of Beatty.



Continue west on 374 into Death Valley National Park... take the first left towards Furnace Creek at the entrance station. Zion National Park in Utah would be a nice trip.
We have done it by car from Vegas. Leave early, get back late.
