Morganton, NC to Mouth of Wilson, Va

Hi all,
We'll be traveling to Mouth of Wilson soon and would.like some advice on routes. We'll have a 37 foot motorhome and towing a car. The roads heading north out of Morganton look like smaller secondary roads. Does anyone know if these roads would be okay or can you suggest an alternate route? Some of the road the gps has us going are rts 221, 181, 105, 58, 16,90, 321, 421 depending on the actual route that we select. Some are US highways some state.

As I remember 90 is dirt, 221,321, and 421 are good. We prefer the BlueRidge Parkway For most of it.
