Setting up for a long trip and will overnight on road and making minimal stops. Just wondering what interstate/exits are like to stop and eat, Cracker Barrels, national chains, Etc...can't take the C through drivethrus.

We just pull off the road (rest areas on interstates, large turnouts on other roads) and fix our own meals. Cheaper and less bother.

Agreed. I just stop when my daughter is hungry. We usally find a fast food place with room to park then walk in. Sometimes the places are not doable, but you usally can find something. If you see a place and it dosen't look like you can navigate it , just skip it. And find another. Not worth getting stuck. Dont ask me how I know this.

You'll figure out how to read the road pretty quickly. You'll learn there's a difference between finding fast food with big parking off the interstates versus smaller places to park and eat in small towns.

When it isn't obvious to you as the driver, you can get your copilot to use their smart phone to find things on their map apps.

It gets pretty natural after a couple days on the road.
