Amistad

We are heading toward Del Rio and I noticed that there were 3 or 4 campgrounds at the Amistad. We are mostly interesting in birding. Do you have a favorite campground in the area. Thanks

Another vote for South Llano. They have some nice blinds set up for birding. We've driven past Amistad a number of times, it looks kind of bleak. Seminole Canyon SP is nearby and is pretty nice.

As mentioned So Llano is good for birding. At Amistad we prefer spur 406 CG. Vault toilets and no water. Water and dump is near Governors Landing.
