Anastasia State park sites.

It's been years since I've been to this park. We had a smaller tt back then to. Would like some help picking a site for our 33ft fw (3 slides). I remember alot of sites being tight to get into even if the site itself was large. I know Reserve America has pics of sites but they can be harder to get into than they appear. Any site #'s you would recommend from experience based on the size of my fw? Thanks

If you are by chance looking for a better alternative, there is a private CG down the raod on A1A called North Beach. Atlantic Ocean across the street and intracoastal in the back. Nice large sites, and only minutes to St. Augustine. Have also driven through Anastasia and the sites look much too small for me.

I've been considering that option. Does it have rv park feel or more natural (state park) feel to it? Just remember the state park being so beautiful.
Not an RV park feel at all - there is a part of it that rents sites to full timers, but the sites are secluded by vegetation and they have some huge pull throughs. Here is a link to 39 pictures. Also nice resturants on the intracoastal - outside dining during the sunset is awesome!

Thanks. Booked North Beach Camp.

Experience without good judgment is worthless; good judgment without experience is still good judgment!

We picked site 123 form looking at the pictures, we have a 39' 5th wheel, it looked good in the picture. We will be there in June during the early part of the week so maybe it will not be that crowded if we have to change the site.

We were in St. Augustine at Christmas. We were staying at a private CG, but took a drive through Anastasia to check it out. I suggest calling the CG office and asking their advice and then research spots from there. We have a 40' Fifth wheel and they outlined the 5 spots that could accommodate us. Out of those 5, we only felt 3 were realistic. You aren't that big so you'll have better prospects, but there is a lot of vegetation.

Don't forget campsitephotos.com Anastasia St. Park on that
