Anyone at OBX - Rodanthe area?

We've been trying to get down there all week - foiled by the reports of bad weather. However, I see "clear" in Rodanthe this AM - is it really so? And what is the outlook for the next week?

I cancelled my trip down there that was supposed to begin today. I go for the fishing, and this weather is not good for that.

Next week is supposed to be better, and we are going to give it another go then.

I'm pretty sure HWY 12 is open right now.
