Update on our camping spot. We are not staying in Falmouth. I found a campground called Peter's Pond in Sandwich. I was going to stay at the other one, but I thought the extra prices they charged were too high. They charge $12.00 for extra persons, which I thought was a bit steep. But, I thought oh well, I will pay $100.00 a night to park my camper for a few nights. I know we will be in a special area and sometimes you have to pay for that privilege. But, when they were going to charge me $12.00 more dollars for my dogs, I said no way. I have had to pay a couple of dollars before and I understand that. I try not to be a cheapskate, but it was not going to cost these people a dime for my dogs to be there. I keep them in my camper, bring their water from home and pick up their poop. The other campground base rate was the same and they are not charging anything for my dogs. I even will be on a water site. I just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening.

Thanks everyone. Being from Texas, it is hard for me to realize you can drive from state to state in an hour. Ha. I wanted to find really nice places to stay on this trip, as this is my mother-in-laws intro into camping. If anyone has any suggestions into must see sights in the Newport, RI/Massachusetts area, I would love to hear them. We are planning a day in Newport, Boston, Plimouth Plantation, and Cape Cod National Seashore area. Once again, thanks so much for all the input.
