Evening All,

We are thinking of visiting Massachusetts in September. Anyone have a favorite full hook-up park on Cape Cod?

Thanks!

Another vote for Sweetwater. "Must see / do" are the Brewster General Store, Natural history museum, Salt Ponds visitor center, and P-town beach driving ($$).

A short drive down Rt 137 brings your to Chatham. Biplanes rides at the airport.

We stayed at Atlantic Oaks a few years ago in September. Best time to go to Cape Cod....no crowds whatsoever. Atlantic Oaks is incredibly clean and is centrally located. If we go back to Cape Cod, it will be our first choice for a place to stay.

It's always our first choice too, we have stayed at their sister campground too and it was a tighter fit with a few trees hard to get around.
We also don't like leaving their park as there is a hill to the left going out and we've almost been hit a couple of times.
Atlantic Oaks is right next to the bike trail, I think it actually goes right behind it.

OP asked about full hookups. Bourne has no FULL hookups, dump station only.

When will people achieve "reading comprehension"?

However, they have a honey wagon (locally know as the Kucka Sucka) that comes around twice a week.

I met the couple who run Atlantic Oaks. Great folks. As usual with local attractions, we're a 1/2 hour from there and have yet to stay. I guess we'll need to do something about that.

Sweetwater Forest in Brewster has a few FHU sites. Bourne Scenic Park is usually full all season. People rent out their houses all summer and stay in their fiver there.

September is a great time on the Cape.

While we normally stay in Nickerson State Park, we have had need for a CG with hookups. While Atlantic Oaks is very popular, we looked it over and found we preferred it's sister campground, Shady Knoll.

We have never stayed at Atlantic Oaks (it's a mile from our house) but when friends visit with their RV we have them stay there. They easily accommodate 40' RV.
