Just wanted some input on this campground. We are looking at going next week and wanted some opinions. We love the mountains and love to waterfall hike and this looks a good one.

Stayed there once last year and it probably will be the LAST stay there.

Very tight roads, un-even spots (very un-even), roads even have crazy little hills, hard to navigate, bathrooms were not up-kept. Crowded & crazy. Not full hook-ups, did not have phone reception, etc.....Just saying :E was not our preference.

Just stayed here 2 weekends ago, Adventure Village,
full hook-ups (including Cable TV, Sewer), super nice owner, all the firewood you wanted $5 a nite! The campground is kind of basic where the RV's are just slotted next to each other in one road - row.

Bathrooms were well kept up. Some hiking on site, his property is real hilly with roads go up & about, cabins on site. 5 minutes to Brevard, 9 minutes to Pisgah Forest entrance, 20 minute drive to Dupont.

Davidson River is right in Pisgah, not full hook-ups, super nice, forested campground (not sure on availability).

Have not visited, but this one gets rave reviews, although depending on the size of you rig, I believe may limit you Black Forest

Great area, keep an eye out, later this evening I may try to post pics of Aventure!

Can't give you any input on the CG, but you'll certainly enjoy the waterfall hikes in DuPont State Forest. You're also a pretty easy drive north on US 276 to the Blue Ridge Parkway via some nice scenery, or south on 276 to Caesar's Head State Park in SC (fantastic views on a clear day).
