My favorite campground is the one I'm heading to tomorrow.
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

Thank you for reminding me of Burney Falls. We went there years ago with just a van. Gotta put that on my list!

Be sure to bring your wallet - the last time I was there it was $35.00 for dry camping & pay showers. Still a beautiful waterfall.

While I think the waterfall at Burney Falls is one of the prettiest in the US, my favorite California State Park is Red Rock Canyon.

Wow. Kind of an obscure place to be mentioned here. We have a cabin at Lake Isabel and spend several weeks a year there.

For those that haven't been there, La Vista has 17 sites with electric, not too common for NFS CG's here in CO.

Fort Wilderness Campground at Disney was pretty amazing. Wish I could have spent more time there, but after a day at Disney, in June, you just either want to stick your face in the AC or float in a pool.

Most Core of Engineer campgrounds are very nice. Located primarily in the SE, all on bodies of water. Usually a wide variety of sites, good separation, and many have E and W hookups. Easily the best bargain with a Senior National Park Pass for 1/2 price camping.

Wichita Mountains in Lawton Oklahoma. The campground is called Doris campground. Our kids loved it while growing up there is a first class educational center and buffalo roam freely thru out.
