Hey there. We are headed to the Keys in July. Any suggestions on where a good full hook up site is? I'm looking for opinions on those who have stayed there. Any must do's while we are there?

My son is at Pensacola. He's a Navigator for USAF. He gets his wings in July and we are going for his ceremony, then going down to the keys for 2 weeks. We love staying there on base at the RV park but want to go on down and see more of Florida.

Are they really the same place? Do they honour the cheaper rate? Interesting hmmm lol

It appears some owner's and management got into a power struggle, something I want no part of....:W

I added a couple links to my post above. The site pictures are of our $60/night site....Dennis

Blue Water Key is great but expensive. Boyds (smaller sites) is closer to downtown Key West. There are some decent mid-Key CGs (Grassy Key, Sunshine Key, Marathon Marina). At that time of the year and if you can put up with only water and electric, I'd recommend the state parks (Bahia Honda, Long Key, and even John Pennecamp in Key Largo). Excellent locations and not pricey. If you're retired military PM me for another option.

John Pennekamp State Park, Key Largo, is one of the few that have full hookups.
Bluewater Key is the best park close to Key West. That said, they have two DIFFERENT web sites... ".com" amd ".net". They have different pricing on the same type lots. Bluewaterkey.com offers rates at $130/night while Bluewaterkey.net offers them for $60/night. Choose your poison.....

If you want a visual of the keys and campsites, check out my blog below for pictures.....Dennis

Welcome to RV.net!
We stayed at Bluewater Key. It was the best place we have ever stayed.
You must go to key West for the sunset party!
