Looking on freecampsites.net they list some free campsites around South Fork CO are these legit? I don't believe everything I read on the Internet lol. Park Creek Road is where I am looking at. I was also looking at the Beaver Creek camp but more I think about it $17 a night for a place to park sounds kind of steep....with no hook ups. What do yall say.....

Ok...a little bit of a gripe. The sites are called free campgrounds and free campsites. But they list campsites that cost. Granted not a whole lot, but in my book that ain't free. Lol

Well here is my plan. Will go to the Beaver Creek campground for $17 a night stay a night or 2 and that will give me time to check out the free sites I have found. Then move to one of those if I like what I see. If I dont find one that I like I can just stay put.

Yeah, they're legit. We haven't stayed in any of the spots around South Fork but we use freecamsites.net a lot. I think that there was only one time that we didn't stay at our chosen destination because it looked like it might turn into a party spot on the weekends. Zoom in on the map. There are some nice room sites right on the river. Have a good trip!

Yes I am aware of that, the area I am looking at was not affected by the fires.
